About Guy

Guy Smith enjoyed the most prestigious victory of his career in 2003, taking the chequered flag of the Le Mans 24 Hour race in car No.7, the Bentley Speed 8 of Team Bentley. Guy had been a central figure for Team Bentley's attack on both the Sebring 12hrs and the Le Mans 24hrs, partnered with then nine-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen and 'Dindo' Capello.

After finishing 4th at Sebring in the 12hrs, the trio swept all before them at Le Mans that June, capturing pole-position and 1st place in the world-famous 24 Hour race. Guy was selected to pilot the car across the finish line at the end of the historic 71st running of the event to mark an emotional sixth win for Bentley.

During my time in motorsport I have competed across the globe with some amazing teams and taken victories at the highest level. I have learnt a great deal about the development, promotion and commercial aspects involved in sport from both a teams point of view and that of sponsors. My passion for both business and sport is now driving me to the next challenge I desire after my motorsport career.

Greenlight Sports & Entertainment was born in 2016 and is a creative sports agency that connects businesses to the power and passion of sport. We work with businesses, brands, rights holders and individuals to identify the most fitting rights holder and corresponding partnership package. 'As in sport, so in business. To compete at the top level, you must spot the best opportunities.'

Through my career in sport and with my position I hold on the board of Swift Group, I believe that sport and business go hand in hand, from grass roots sport to the most powerful sporting events in the world Greenlight Sports & Entertainment can help harness that power in a positive, meaningful and measurable way.
